Hello Haen Hawk Families!
A few updates for you!
*Haen Wear :)
We are seeing so many students loving their new Haen Hawk t-shirt! Haen Hawks are changing the world, one hero at a time! These shirts are compliments of our Haen Parent Advisory Committee, or PAC. Students can wear these shirts any time, and they are especially nice for our Haen Hawk Spirit Wear days! A School Store through Eagle Graphics will be open soon to purchase Haen Wear!
The school year has started strong and we are settling into new classroom routines. As we continue to build our school community with students, we are excited to extend and connect that community with our families! Read on to learn more!
*Fall Partners in Learning
We are excited to be hosting our School Wide Title 1 Fall Partners in Learning Event on Friday, October 21st! Families will learn more about our school and our focus on educating the whole child. Families will then spend time in the classroom reading with their child on Literacy Footprints. Literacy Footprints is an e-reader with books tailored to the student's reading level. Students will also be able to access Literacy Footprints at home and we will show families how! We will also have tools for families to take home that are used at school with the Zones of Regulation.
Keep an eye out for a sign up, letting us know who will attend with your student. We understand that families are busy, and welcome a trusted adult to attend this event with the student!
